About

I am an experienced editor, journalist and visual storyteller. I have covered the business of fashion - from textiles to retail, bringing to light issues surrounding sustainability, social impact and inclusion - both as executive editor of WWD and editorial director of Sourcing Journal. I have a master’s degree in journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in business and fashion merchandising from California State University, Los Angeles.

Embracing explanatory journalism to tell the world’s stories.

I pride myself on taking an on-the-ground approach to uncovering what’s happening across the fashion industry, a knack backed by my past life as a merchandiser and account manager for two major apparel companies.

I have written about travel because I’m always thinking about it. Travel is my joy, my release, my comfort food, my safe place, my passion. It is easier to ask me which countries I don’t want to travel to than which ones I do. Never invite me to travel if you don’t mean it, because I will say yes. I get disproportionately excited about cool travel products and I don’t understand fanny packs. Or socks with sandals.
